Birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was celebrated with great devotion and patriotic fervour at SGHPSTT. A heartfelt tribute was paid to the son of soil who sacrificed his life at a very tender age. On this occasion, an extempore was organised and students were told about Bhagat Singh’s life. The Seminar on Small Hallway was organised at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Tarn Taran. Six to eight classes participated in this religious seminar.In the seminar,Divinity teachers spot the light on this bloody tragedy occurred on May 17 ,1746 in Kahnuwan Chhamba of Gurdaspur District which is known as the Chhota Ghalughara in history.Divinity teachers said that 10-12 thousand Sikhs were martyred. Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Tarn Taran, under the auspices of Chief Khalsa Diwan, brought excellence in 10th and 12th class result.In 12th class, Sanyam of Commerce Stream got 95% Marks,Japneet got 94%and Simranjit got 91%.In Medical Stream Palakpreet got 92.4% ,Ashneet got 92.2% and Ishratdeep got 92%. In Non Medical,Sagaljot got 92.2%,Manmeet got 88% and Mehakdeep got 87.2%. In Arts stream,Simranjit got 85% , Sumanpreet got 78% and Arshpreet got 69%. Overall result is 100%

The 25th Anniversary of India' s becoming Nuclear Power was celebrated at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Tarn Taran.
